KLab Holiday Party 2023
The lab took a break from finals week to celebrate the end of the semester together at our first annual lab holiday party. We had a Christmas tree competition (judging criteria: (1) Tree-ness, (2) festive-ness, and (3) biological-ness) and a Mario Cart competition. Creative trees included biological components such as DNA helices, unique jolly vascular plants, jolly animals, and phylogenetic trees, David won the Christmas tree competition with an awesome drawing of a merry Archosaur, and Alex won the Mario Cart tournament after a tough fight with Vicente. It was a great time!
