Randy joins the Zaniacs

Pete Zani (University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point) is leading a long-term project on the biology of side-blotched lizards in the Grandy Canyon (from rim to rim), and this year he invited five additional herpetologists to join him: Lance McBrayer (Georgia Southern University), Chris Tracey (Boyd Deep Canyon Desert Research Station), Geoff Smith (Utah Tech University), Megen Kepas (State Herpetologist for Utah, soon-to-be Utah Tech University), and Randy Klabacka.

We spent 5 nights at Phantom Ranch and collected morphological and thermal ecology data from lizards in The Box, around the Colorado River, and along Bright Angel Trail.
